July 28, 2025: In a heartfelt tribute to environmental stewardship, Aydemy Foundation, in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Gharota, organized a day-long event on World Nature Conservation Day, bringing together students, educators, and dignitaries to celebrate the vital importance of conserving nature through education and engagement.
The event featured multi-level competitions designed to foster awareness, creativity, and critical thinking around environmental issues. Students from Class 1 to 12 participated with great enthusiasm across various categories:
- Drawing Competition for Classes 1 to 6, where young children translated their thoughts on nature into vibrant art.
- Debate Competition for Classes 7 to 10, encouraging critical discourse on pressing environmental challenges.
- Quiz Competition for Classes 11 and 12, testing students’ knowledge of ecology, sustainability, and global conservation efforts.
The program commenced with a symbolic balloon release, led by Tehsildar Miss Monika Sharma, Principal Smt. Harpreet Kour, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the National Anthem.
The event was graced by several eminent personalities including Sarpanch Sh. Partap Singh, Sh. Rajesh Kumar, Founder, Aydemy Foundation, and Sh. Pawan Sharma (Retd. Head Master), Secretary, Aydemy Foundation. The program was ably coordinated by Mr. Anirudh Sharma, District Coordinator, along with the Aydemy Foundation team.
Speaking on the occasion, dignitaries underscored the importance of youth engagement in environmental protection. They lauded the Foundation’s commitment to education and sustainable development, especially in rural and semi-urban regions.
The program concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, followed by inspirational remarks from the guests. A vote of thanks was delivered by the Founder, acknowledging the support of school authorities, local administration, and the student community. The event concluded with a tree plantation drive on the school campus. Students, teachers, and guests joined hands to plant saplings, reaffirming their collective pledge to protect and preserve nature.
